Robert...our owner and Premier photographer:

Robert started his formal education in both fine art and classical music at the University of California at Stanislaus. He had an ongoing desire for a more specialized training for both commercial and fine art portrait photography and continued his education and traning through the Golden Gate school for Professional Photography where he earned a full scholarship in the areas of portraiture as well as fine wedding photography, studying under such modern masters as Lori Rose & Monty Zucker at these wonderful schools.

Being convinced that education should never cease, he later made his yearly tradition of unbroken seminar attendance at both the summer programs at Golden Gate Schools in Belmont, California as well as West Coast School for Professional Photographers in San Diego, California for many years.

He has been a member and office holder for the Professional Photographers of Stanislaus as well as the prestigous Greater Bay Area Professional Photographers. Winning most awards available to the competition entries (including a rare perfect 100 point score) he focused on participation in the GBA group exclusively, renowned for claiming the most "Master Photographers" in membership than anywhere in the world.

Robert on Wedding Philosophy 101:

Unlike most wedding photographers, (as nice as they might be) we believe your wedding should be about YOUR wishes, tastes and preferences.

We allow the day to flow, planning as best we can, while understanding flexibility is our greatest ally.

We have been photographing our wedding as though they were all the “top” package brides, since 1979.

We have also been serving and winning awards for our brides from San Diego, San Francisco, and Europe, for over 27 years.

All brides receive the same attention and image quality as well as balancing their elegant portraits with their photojornalistic candid pictures.

We would never allow a reception full of guests to wait for you because we just need another great (egotistically driven) "shot".

Elegance in photography does not need to take a long time, nor does it require painful (read...boring) photo sessions.

An experienced and talented wedding photographer understands that superb time management skills as well as the ability to work with people, not work them, are keys to supeior wedding photography.

You don't often hear about these issues when talking to prospective photographers...do you? Typically, they LOVE their supermagapixel million-dollar cameras, and expect you to be impressed as well.

A classic line is...I can take three thousand pictures at your wedding.

True enough...so can a six year old...so your point is? There is much more to this profession than most photographers are even remotely aware of, let alone are able to accomplish.

Don't get me wrong, there are many more images created than you could ever dream of needing, but the focus (sorry) needs to be primarily on the quality of those images rather than running up numbers.

Hummm...what do you think...shouldn't you be impressed with beautiful and fun images taken by a discreet photographer who hasn't annoyed you and all your guests? Then artfully assembled into a tasteful yet exciting presentation album?

These lessons are learned over decades...not just a few years.

Choose your professional carefully.
