The Grand Holiday Ballroom
Located near Central Olympia, only minutes away from the capital and Interstate 5 freeway, the Grand Holiday Ballroom offers either one or both it’s levels for your wedding.
This Historical building was constructed in the early years of the last century as a church with a classic open beamed chapel which offers a very beautiful and versatile wedding location. Whether you wish to host an intimate ceremony with immediate family or need a grand space for a more comprehensive guest list, our “level two” lends itself well to a wide variety of wedding needs.
Your beautiful and spacious bride’s room is also available in which to dress and prepare for this most important occasion. Your groom also has an appropriate dressing room.
Level Two...the Chapel.
This magnificent room has the charm and architectural details that are reminiscent of European countryside chapels with open beamed ceiling supports that support classic steeply sided open ceilings.
Three of four walls display subtle yet richly colored antique stained glass windows.
Ceremony occupancy capacities vary from 50 to 200, depending upon seating and ceremony floor layouts. We have many options with which to arrange and divide this space to make it spacious and opulent, or warm and cozy.
Two side rooms provide entertaining needs and or space for musicians. The side alcove offers a quaint and classic location for available light portraits. Just outside this alcove is your secret garden, also providing a charming tiny portrait opportunity location.
Level One...the Grand Hall
The Grand Staircase introduces you and your guests to a warm and inviting room which may also offer another spacious alternative ceremony location. You can accommodate all your guests comfortably, up to 300 seated for dinner...and dancing.
The north wall displays a wonderful custom paneled fireplace with stained glass, echoing the architectural theme from level two. At the East wall is a hand made, full room length bar to assist guests in timely celebratory beverages. The West end provides servers with a wide serving window from the fully professional kitchen available to your caterer.
Level one offers a customized dining area which provides you and your guests a warm and inviting space featuring a grand staircase, a custom fireplace and classic wall length hand made bar. Our full kitchen is a fully professional workspace to prepare full meals efficiently.
